To Register Your Child For Kindergarten
STEP 1--Residency Verification, Demographic Information
STEP 2--Letter of Residency
Bring the completed Residency Verification Forms and one of the documents listed below to the Board of Education, 32 Vine Street :
ü Property Deed,
ü Settlement Statement
ü Title Insurance, or
ü Current Lease Agreement
You will receive your Letter of Residency.
***If siblings are currently enrolled in Mountain Brook Schools, and the family residence has not changed, a Letter of Residency must still be obtained but the above documentation is not required.***
STEP 3--Other Required Documents
Take the Letter of Residency and originals of the following documents to your child's school.
ü Child’s Social Security Card (card required)
ü Certified Birth Certificate (certification required), and
ü Certificate of Immunization (Original Blue Form)
STEP 4--Local Forms
For local school forms (PTO information, volunteer forms, payments, etc.), click on your local school link below:
Kindergarten Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2013.
