Susan Robie

I am thrilled to be starting my first year at MBJH.  After spending 13 years as a high school English teacher and 3 years as an elementary school librarian, I have landed just where I belong!  When I was an English teacher, my favorite parts of my job were talking to kids about books and helping them research.  Now I get to do both!

My favorite young adult authors are Robert Cormier, Suzanne Collins, Graham McNamee, and Sarah Weeks.  I am always eager to hear from students about their favorite books and authors.

I like to read, play Words with Friends, do crossword puzzles, and watch reality TV.    I also have a rather large (18 lb.) cat named Felix.
