The counselors are involved in helping students with the registration process, long term academic planning, and other academic concerns.
• Counselors will visit classes to discuss course recommendations, placement and elective choices.
• Registration forms with recommended classes marked will be sent home.
• Parents are welcome at this time to contact the grade level counselor to discuss recommendations and course selections.
• A parent meeting explaining the four year plan will be held during your child's 8th grade year.
• Counselors visit 8th grade classes to present diploma options, high school course selections and elective choices.
• The students complete the four year plan form with their parents. The form is updated yearly.
• Parents are welcome at this time to contact the grade level counselor to discuss this plan.
