Amanda Hood - Assistant Principal

Amanda Hood is a graduate of Troy State University, where she double majored in Mathematics and History. She graduated in 2000 with her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. Amanda received her Master’s and Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Montevallo in 2003 and 2010, respectively. Amanda taught math at Oak Mountain High School, where she also coached cheerleading and served as the sponsor of a variety of organizations. She served as the Academic Assistant Principal at Spain Park High School before joining the Mountain Brook High School family in June 2011.
