Look for more information soon on this page about attendance matters.  In the meantime, here is an important item to remember.

If your child is absent, you must provide a written excuse within three days or the absence will be unexcused.  If your child's absence is counted as unexcused, the school is required by Alabama state law to notify parents by letter of the unexcused absence and to provide a copy of the Alabama law related to school attendance and absence.   So, it is critically important to send in that note!
