The Building Based Student Support Team (Child Study Team) consists of a counselor, an administrator, and a minimum of two regular classroom teachers. Auxiliary members include special education teachers, nurses or others at the discretion of the team. Teachers refer students to receive assistance in dealing with any aspect of the student's education regarding academics or behavior. The team may offer suggestions, a plan of action, or a referral for 504 or special education services. |
