Mr. Sklar is an active member of the community having served in leadership roles for many organizations and boards. His current involvements include serving as a Board Member and Co-Chair of the finance and Taxation Committee of the Birmingham Business Alliance, on the Community Board of Operation New Birmingham, on the Graffman Endowment Board. He is a graduate of the 2000 Class of Leadership Birmingham and the 2009 Class of Leadership Alabama.  He and his wife, Stephanie, have one child in the Mountain Brook School System.
