The concert band is the premier performing ensemble at Mountain Brook Junior High School. It is comprised of 7th, 8th, and a few 9th grade students. The band performs at all 8th grade home football games, several concerts each year, an adjudicated performance at the Alabama Bandmasters Association Music Performance Assessment, a contest performance trip to 6 flags in Atlanta, Georgia, and numerous individual events. The band has grown from 42 members in 2002 to over 70 members today.We meet during 6th period everyday and perform several times during the school year. |
