Mountain Brook Schools

February 8, 2012

1.       As many of you are aware Center Point Elementary was devastated by the recent tornadoes. The Mtn Brook High School Key Club and Interact Club are asking for your help. Starting today there will be boxes outside the office where you can donated those much needed school supplies. Please bring what you can to help this school get back on their feet.

2.       There will be a spring tryout next week for the varsity boys golf team for ONLY the individuals that did not tryout during the fall evaluation because of their fall sport. Evaluations will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb 14^th and 15^th.      Walk-ups WILL NOT be allowed the day of try outs.

3.       Attention all 9^th grade girls interested in auditioning for next year’s Dorians. Clinic and tryouts will take place Feb 27 – March 2^nd. Clinic will be from 3:30 – 5:30pm, Mon. – Thurs. and tryouts begin at 4:00pm on March 2^nd.    There will be a mandatory meeting for all interested candidates and at least one parent next Wed., Feb 15^th at 6:00pm in the Spartan Arena Cage Club.   Please contact Mrs. Wint at MBHS with any questions.

4.       After school choir will begin tomorrow from 3:00 – 4:00pm.

5.       9^th graders, don’t forget your baby picture and $5.00 for the yearbook. Remember to put your name on your picture and DO NOT bring a picture that is irreplaceable.

Evaluations will be held Tues. and Wed., Feb 14^th and 15^th.   Interested individuals must contact Coach Eaves prior to the start of evaluations to qualify for participation. Walk-ups will not be allowed the day of tryouts.

1.       Remember 9^th graders if you would like your baby picture in the yearbook bring a picture with your name on it and $5.00. Do not bring a picture that is irreplaceable. These are due to Mrs. Loden by Feb 10^th.
