Discovery Streaming offers engaging curriculum and standards-related videos, images, sounds, music, articles, speeches, and lessons that can be used alone or as resources for larger multimedia projects. Classroom resources like lessons, writing prompts, and an interactive World Atlas make Discovery Streaming like a teacher's gigantic digital filing cabinet filled to the top with engaging materials.

When it comes to integrating Discovery Education Streaming into your curriculum, the possibilities are unlimited. Start with these ideas and ways to integrate digital media resources. As you use Discovery Education Streaming, devise your own creative ideas.
1. MULTIMEDIA PRESENTATIONS
Embed video segments in PowerPoint presentations to make your lessons come alive.
2. JOURNALING
Use pre-made Writing Prompts or create your own to give students practice crafting persuasive, narrative or descriptive writing passages.
3. TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY
Use the Calendar feature to highlight historic events that happened on students’ birthdays.
4. GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS
Integrate images and video segments with Inspiration graphic organizer software to help students make visual connections to concepts.
5. SCAVENGER HUNT
Challenge students to answer essential questions in a game. (Hint: they find the answers by viewing video segments.)

Search Options
- Keyword Search – Search for video segments, images, clip art, etc. that contains the keyword.
- Subject Search – Click on one of the eight core subject areas to find resources for the content you teach.
- Grade Search – Select a grade range to view age appropriate content.
- Curriculum Standards – Videos have been cross-referenced according to state standards and learning goals. Be sure to select the subject and grade level as well.
- Advanced Search – This search tools gives you more options to limit your search.
