Elizabeth Dunn graduated from Mountain Brook High School in 1979 and from Converse College, Spartanburg, SC in 1983 with a BA in Economics and Accounting.  Upon graduation she worked for AmSouth Bank in the branch system. She has also worked for First Union National Bank as a loan officer, and for McDonald Investment Company, a family business.  She and her husband, Jack, have 3 children.

Mrs. Dunn has served in the PTA in a variety of roles including: President and Treasurer at Crestline Elementary, PTA Council, Foundation Publicity, and Book Fair Co-Chair at Mountain Brook Junior High. She has been a member of the Mountain Brook Foundation Board, and the Program and Needs Committee.  Mrs. Dunn is active in her church, Canterbury United Methodist, currently serving as the Beeson Trust Team Chair, on the Leadership Team, Carpenter's Hands Board, Church Council. She has served for several years on the Building Team.   Currently, she is the Troop Committee Chair for Boy Scout Troop 63.  She has been active in other community organizations including the Junior League of Birmingham.
