There are two free programs that came on CD  with your math curriculum (or you can download from online)to install on school or home computers to use with your math curriculum. At MBE, I have loaded the CDs to our network and placed install icons on your desktop (and student desktop) for you to easily install the program. The install icons will be available for the few weeks, so install as soon as you can.

 

Logged in as you, go to you installs folder on your desktop and double click Install Shapes and then Install LogoPaths

Logged in as a student, have them go to their installs folder on their desktop and double click the Install Shapes and then Install LogoPaths progam.

It is a next, next, accept the agreement, next, next until finished. Easy install. No options to choose.

 

If you want to do install these two programs on your classroom computers, go for it.

 

If you want to do it on your laptops, please designate one teacher to get her students to do it the next time they have the laptops. That way we won’t have students trying to install on top of another install that has already been done. So communicate in your grade level as to who will do this.

In the computer labs, please let us all know if you are planning on going to the lab and do not mind having your students do the install on all of the computers at once. Please let us know so someone doesn’t try to install on top of the install you’ve already done.

I will anticipate hearing from one teacher who uses the k-4 lab and one who uses the 5-6 lab.

Teachers have been given usermanuals and directions for the different products available.
