Brookwood Forest PE is taught by Coach Kyle Ritter and Coach Kirk McClendon.
The first nine weeks in physical education, students will be working on locomotor and nonlocomotor skills,
space awareness, fitness testing, parachute games, jump rope, hula hoops, bowling, ball skills, fitness stations, scooter hockey, kicking, throwing and catching.
The second nine weeks the students will be doing volleyball skills, putt putt golf, newcomb skills, basketball, pillo-polo, soccer, line dancing, rhythm, dance and four square.
During the third nine weeks in Physical Education, students will continue working on locomotor and non -locomotor skills; practice for fitness testing; jump ropes; putt-putt golf, soccer skills, throwing, catching and striking skills, tennis, badmitten and Spring Fitness Test.
During the fourth nine weeks we will do whiffieball, softball skills, fitness stations, obstacle course, juggling, and track and field.
The State of Alabama requires physical education for 30 minutes daily. If your child is unable to participate we MUST have a WRITTEN excuse. Please remember that tennis shoes are REQUIRED for safety purposes.
