Second grade is working with our Harcourt reading program for spelling. We will still use the No Excuse words from Sitton Spelling.
There is a "Priority List" of "No Excuse" spelling words. These are the most frequently used words in the English language.
There is also a "core" list of words that second graders are responsible for learning. There are 170 Core Words in second grade.
