The Mountain Brook Schools Technology Curriculum Committee believes that the Technology Curriculum should be an integrated, interdisciplinary program that is effective, challenging, and engaging.

Specifically we believe that:

  • Access to current technology is a powerful tool for research and communications; in fact, the skillful, responsible and ethical use of technology is a defining hallmark of success for the 21st century.
 
  • Relevant and authentic technology experienced through an interdisciplinary approach engages students of all ability levels and learning styles.
 
  • Ownership in technology is a means to foster and facilitate life-long learning.
