Walk It Out Club
Exercise has proven to boost mental health of people of all ages. Walk it Out is a walking club that provides a structured and focused time period that allows students to get outside and walk. Research has shown that walking has many benefits for students including promoting cognitive function, boosting mood, reducing fatigue, and promoting community and social interaction. In addition to walking and building community with each other, Walk it Out dedicates each club period to learning about and practicing a specific benefit of walking.
