Mrs. Ryan is excited about returning for her 2nd year at Mountain Brook High School and 8^th year of teaching. She grew up in Madison, Alabama, and graduated from Auburn University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Marketing Education. While attending Auburn, Mrs. Ryan obtained Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification and Internet Computer Core (IC3) certification. Mrs. Ryan previously taught for 6 years in Shelby County Schools, with the last 5 being at Helena High School where she taught Career Preparedness, Marketing, Entrepreneurship and AP Computer Science Principles. Mrs. Ryan served as the JV Cheerleading coach and sponsored FBLA, DECA, and National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). Mrs. Ryan currently teaches Accounting and Finance and is the Sponsor of FBLA and co-sponsor of the National Business Honor Society. She is also a member of ABEA and NBEA. Mrs. Ryan is extremely excited and blessed to take on the roll of head cheer coach here at Mountian Brook High School. She cheered for Bob Jones High School and also did competition cheer and loves to share her passion with the MBHS cheerleaders.

Outside of school, Mrs. Ryan enjoys spending time at the lake with her husband of 17 years and three kids, ages 15, 13 and 10.
