Mrs. Watkins holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Alabama and a Masters in secondary education from the University of Montevallo. She also is a National Board Certified Teacher. Throughout her career she has taught geometry, algebra 1, algebra 2, analytical math and precalculus. She LOVES all things math and hopes to ignite a spark of love for mathmatics in each of her students. This school year is her seventeenth year in education and third year at Mountain Brook Junior High.  

Outside of school, Mrs. Watkins enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and three children as well as playing tennis. Her favorite places to visit are St. George Island and Lake Martin. After a wonderful summer vacation, she is super excited to meet her new students and lead them on their geometry journey! Go Spartans!!!
