Rachel (Alexander) Lazzaroni is thrilled to be a part of the Cherokee Bend team as the STEM/Computer Science Teacher for K-6 and the Robotics Coach for the second year!

Mrs. Lazzaroni graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She is entering her tenth year of teaching. She has spent previous years teaching various subject areas, STEM, and enrichment to multiple grade levels in Pattville, Tuscaloosa, Selma, and Montgomery. Mrs. Lazzaroni is originally from Prattville, Alabama; however, she loves the Birmingham area. She and her husband have two dogs, Odie and Moose.

Mrs. Lazzaroni enjoys learning about new and innovative technology, traveling around the world, and spending time with her dogs. Mrs. Lazzaroni is so excited about the school year, and she believes this year is the best year for new opportunities to learn and grow!
