  • Brainpop and Brainpop Junior

Mountain Brook Schools has a District license for K-6 students.  Please access through Classlinks.  Each Teacher can setup his/her classroom so students can submit work taken. Teachers should join Brainpop Educators for more information.  https://educators.brainpop.com

In classrooms, on mobile devices, and at home, BrainPOP engages students through animated movies, learning games, interactive quizzes, primary source activities, concept mapping, and more. Our award-winning resources include BrainPOP Jr. (K-3), BrainPOP, BrainPOP Español, and, for English language learners, BrainPOP ESL. They cover topics within Science, Math, Social Studies, English Language Arts, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Music, Health, Reading, and Writing. Our content is carefully mapped to the Common Core, aligned to academic standards, and searchable with our online Standards Tool.

We are also home to GameUp, an educational games portal for the classroom; Make-a-Map, an innovative concept mapping tool powered by Ideaphora®; and “My BrainPOP,” which lets teachers customize assessments, incorporate gaming into instruction, spur meaningful reflection, and keep track of learning.  BrainPOP Educators offers professional development and an array of lesson plans, video tutorials, graphic organizers, and a rich curriculum calendar.

BrainPOP can be used in traditional, blended, and “flipped” learning settings, supporting individual, team, and whole-class learning. At school and in more informal learning environments, our characters help introduce new topics and illustrate complex concepts. BrainPOP is also an ideal fit for mobile learning and BYOD classrooms: BrainPOP.com is optimized for mobile browsers, and our educational apps – available on all major platforms – have been downloaded millions of times and lauded in countless reviews.
