Mrs. Neely's second grade students share about thier research on Famous Americans using Flipgrid, a quick and easy way to collect student thinking and learning. CES students have also had the opportunity to create Book Reviews using Flipgrid in the library.
Flipgrid is a website that allows teachers to create "grids" of short discussion-style questions that students respond to through recorded videos. Each grid is effectively a message board where teachers can pose a question and their students can post 90-second video responses that appear in a tiled "grid" display. There is no student sign in required, and it is the easiest tool to set up for teachers. Students simply click a link on the teacher's website, click the + and start recording.
