My name is Anna DeBell, and I am thrilled to be teaching 4th grade this year at Cherokee Bend. This is my 9th year teaching, and my fifth year at Cherokee Bend. After graduating from The University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, I began teaching fourth grade at Tuscaloosa Magnet School. I taught for two years in Tuscaloosa while working on my master's degree. In 2015, I earned a master’s degree in Gifted and Talented Education at Alabama.  I have been married to my best friend, Ben DeBell, for six years. We have two little boys, Rhett and John David. I love to cook, exercise and spend time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to a great year!
