Jacques Feagins is a wife, mother, educator, health enthusiast, and life-long learner. She was born and raised in Birmingham, AL, but has called many states home. Jacques graduated from Alabama A&M University (Go Bulldogs!) with a degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and UAB (Go Blazers!) with a Master's Degree in Reading Specialists. Jacques started her teaching career in 2014 as a second-grade substitute teacher in Edmond, Oklahoma. Since then, she has taught grades K-4 in Oklahoma, Texas, and Alabama.

Jacques is very knowledgeable in various literacy, STEM, assessment, PBL, and school climate programs. Jacques is a certified PLTW Lead Teacher, Great Expectations Educator, Orthon-Gillingham trained, and a Certified NASA Educator. Jacques is a very structured teacher who takes great pride in molding students and instilling in them to always give their best effort.
