Ms. Kate Campbell

Ms. Campbell is beginning her second year of teaching at Mountain Brook Elementary. She is ecstatic to be teaching third grade math, science, and social studies. She enjoys having the opportunity to work with and learn from her teammate and co-teacher, Mrs. Kim Hall, who teaches 3rd grade English language arts. Ms. Campbell graduated from Samford University with a degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education/Elementary Education/Collaborative Education. During her undergraduate studies, she had the opportunity to gain field experience and become immersed in the climate and culture of Mountain Brook Schools, learning more about the field of education through MBE Kindergarten teacher Mr. Mitchell Nelson.

Ms. Campbell believes that one of the most valuable investments you can make is an investment in another individual. Her goal as an educator is to invest richly in each one of her students and guide them to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and problem-solvers. She is committed to providing effective, engaging, and challenging educational experiences for each one of her students in a welcoming and safe learning environment.

Ms. Campbell grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas. During college, her parents moved to Traverse City, Michigan, where she now spends the summers and holidays. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, enjoying the outdoors, and staying active. She is eager and excited to start the new school year and work with wonderful students, parents, and colleagues! Go Lancers!
