- The Comprehensive team placed 4th in the state, a mere 10 points from 3rd place with a total of 545 points. Cory Fan placed 5th individually, Vaughn Frost placed 9th individually, Ivy Cobbs, placed 21st individually, Jelks Cabaniss and Tommy Daley tied placed 35th individually, and Simon Wang placed 42nd individually. Back in November, math team students in both Algebra 2 and Comprehensive worked together for 30 minutes on the Rocket City Math League Interschool competition to submit one set of answers to a 15 question test. This test was administered domestically and to some schools abroad. Mountain Brook High School placed 3rd overall in this competition with a score of 52/60, just three and one points behind the first and second place schools, respectively.
