Hello, name is Mica Nichols. I am thrilled to be teaching 4th grade this year at Cherokee Bend! This is my 4th year teaching, and my first year at Cherokee Bend. I graduated from Samford University in 2014 with a Bachelors in Exercise Science and pursued a career in Personal Training. I found my love for teaching through personal training. I decided to return to Samford University in 2018 and earned my Masters in Elementary Education. I love teaching and have a passion for what I do! I am excited to pour into my students at The Bend this year!

I am very blessed that I am married to my best friend, Matt Nichols. We had our first baby girl last September, Charlie Nichols. Also, we have a Yellow Lab, Dude. I love to exercise and spend time with my family and friends. I am very active and always looking for opportunities to have hands-on learning in my classroom. I am looking forward to an AMAZING year!
