Ms. Brittany Wilson-Algebra I & Geometry

Welcome! This upcoming 2018-2019 school year will be my eighth year of teaching but fifth year at MBJHS.  I am super excited to get to know and work with all of my students this year!

I grew up in Alexander City, Alabama within the Lake Martin area.  After graduation from Benjamin Russell High School, I attended Auburn University and majored in Mathematics Education.  Post undergraduate graduation, I started teaching at Hewitt-Trussville High School where I taught pre-AP geometry, Algebra II with trigonometry, and Algebra I B, and I also finished my M.Ed. degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in mathematics from the University of Montevallo.  A couple of years into working at Mountain Brook, I decided to get my administration in education certificate from Samford University.  My hobbies include swimming, running, yoga, playing with my dog Wesley, and watching Netflix!
