Mountain Brook Theatre Department is planning a wonderful year. District and State Trumbauer Competition and Festival offer students opportunities to compete in Individual Events and the One Act Play Festival competition. The department will present "Failure: A Love Story" by Philip Dawkins as part of the One Act Play Festival Competition.  Mountain Brook High School will host the District Trumbauer this year on November 3, 2018.  State Trumbauer Festival will be at the Troy University on November 30 and December 1, 2018.  

Mountain Brook Theatre Department also presented the Neil Simon play "Lost in Yonkers" in the Black Box Theatre. 

We will ended the year presenting the musical, "Once Upon a Mattress".  The competitions and productions are a wonderful experience for the students, building social and community skills in collaboration and creativity.
