Mrs. Holly Alexander
Holly Alexander graduated from Hanover College with a B.A. degree in Spanish. She received a Rotary Foundation Scholarship for her Junior Year Abroad and studied at the Universidad de las Américas in Puebla, Mexico. After graduation, she worked in a marketing office in London, England, and traveled extensively. She has served as a translator for mission teams working in Costa Rica, Paraguay, and Ecuador.
Prior to coming to Mountain Brook High School, Mrs. Alexander taught Spanish and Language Arts in Amarillo, Texas. She was honored twice to be named Teacher of the Year by colleagues from her home campus, and in 2013 she was a finalist for Amarillo ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Alexander is a member of several professional organizations and is passionate about sharing her love for languages with students. She serves on several faculty committees and is co-sponsor of the Spanish Club and Interact Club.
