Mrs. Jenny Argo

Welcome to my webpage!  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I am so excited to begin my 4th year working as an 8th grade collaborative education teacher here at Mountain Brook Junior High!  This year I will be co-teaching English and Prealgebra. Concerning my education and professional background, I graduated from the University of Alabama with a double major in English and American Studies. After completing my studies, I enlisted in AmeriCorps and worked as a Low Vision Services Coordinator for Sight Savers America. After working in the non-profit field for almost two years, I pursued a career in education. I attended the University of Montevallo, where I received a Masters of Education in Collaborative Education 6-12. I also have an Educational Specialist degree in Autism Spectrum Disorder K-12 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Before coming to Mountain Brook, I worked as a special education teacher in Shelby County.

I was born and raised in Birmingham. I have been married to my husband, Ben, for 6 years and we have a three year old daughter, Caroline, and a 5 month old, Margaret. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family.
