Mr. Brannon T. Aaron
Mr. Aaron hails from Trussville, Alabama. After completing high school, he joined the Alabama Air National Guard while simultaneously working toward his BS in Early Childhood/Elementary from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He began his teaching career working as a first grade teacher at Vestavia Hills Elementary Cahaba Heights in 2005. Four years later, Mr. Aaron moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to assist in the start up of the prestigious Episcopal Collegiate's Lower School. He taught third grade before becoming the school's literacy coach. In this role, he co-taught in kindergarten, first, and fifth grade on a daily basis for the next 2 years. Brannon obtained his MEd in Educational Supervision and Leadership at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock before moving back to Birmingham where he served as literacy coach at Mountain Book Elementary for the next four years. Mr. Aaron became the school's assistant principal in 2016 and is ecstatic about beginning his second year in the role at Mountain Brook Elementary.
