• The BWF Robotics Team (Team 3701) is composed of 4th, 5th and 6th graders from Brookwood Forest that show an interest in Robotics. The BWF Robotics team is a part of Mountain Brook Robotics.   This is an afterschool club that meets on Tuesday afternoons.  Participants apply in May and are choosen by a committee from BWF.  The Robotic team learns to design, build, drive and stratagize to solve a yearly challenge presented by the Vex Foundation.  The team learns about the design process - failing quite a bit but learning from the failures .  The team travels to competitions around the state of Alabama. In 2018 and in 2019 Brookwood Forest Teams have won competitions at the State Championship and been invited to the World Elementary VEX-IQ tournament hosted in Louisville, Kentucky.   We are fortunate to have 2 high school students who help coach the BWF team.
