    MBJH Counseling Department Overview

The School Counseling program addresses the needs of each student by helping him or her to acquire competencies in the areas of knowledge and respect of self and others, academic growth, and college/career exploration and planning. Counselors are available to all students by appointment or on a walk-in basis.  Parents are urged to make an appointment to avoid waiting for service. Counselors are assigned by graduation class, allowing the counselors to build deeper relationships with students and their families over the course of the 3 years at the Junior High.
