MIT App Inventor
This is the web based program that we use in App Creators. If working on a desktop, there is an emulator that can be downloaded so that students can test their app as they design. Otherwise, students can use an Android device (Phone, Tablet) to test their device. MIT is working on making the program work across iOS and Android Platforms
-

Software Programming and Coding Glossary for Kids
This cool website was recommended to me by fellow coding colleagues Myra and Ms. Martin from the Lyndhurst STEM club! Along with easily understandable definitions to some of the more common terms in coding, it has links to other websites that teach coding. Thanks Myra and Ms. Martin!
