Welcome to 7th grade math! I am so excited for this school year. I grew up in Mountain Brook and graduated from MBHS. After receiving a BS in Elementary Education and a M.Ed. in Special Education (k-12) at Vanderbilt University, I moved back to Birmingham and taught in Hoover. I was a Special Education resource teacher and then moved to teaching 6th grade math. After taking some time off with my kids, I was a substitute teacher for several years in Mountain Brook schools. The last three years I have been an aide at MBJH and primarily worked with students in math. I am thrilled to teach 7th grade pre-algebra this year.

    Outside of school, I enjoy time with my husband, three children, three dogs and cat. I love playing tennis and watching basketball and baseball.
