Welcome to Modern World History! I am so excited to begin my third year teaching 9th grade at MBJH. I am a 2012 graduate from Mountain Brook and went on to attend Furman University where I majored in history. Following graduation, I accepted a job at Homewood Middle School, where I taught 7th grade Geography and Civics for 4 years. During my time at Homewood, I also completed my masters in Secondary Social Studies at Samford University. 

I am married to Mark Rector, a MB graduate as well, and we have three children, Joshua, Evelyn Louise and Whit.
