Degrees and Certifications:
Miss Veronica Lyle
Veronica Lyle, a native of Trussville, Alabama, received a B.S. in Health Sciences from Samford University while also running as a scholarship athlete for Samford’s Cross Country and Track team. Veronica transferred to Samford University after originally running as a scholarship athlete on the University of Alabama’s Cross Country and Track team for 2.5 years. She went on to earn her M.S.E. in K-12 Collaborative Special Education at Samford University, where she continued to run collegiately during her time as a graduate student. This will be her first year at Mountain Brook High School as a Collaborative Special Education Teacher; however, Veronica worked at the school as a paraprofessional and went on to complete her student teaching at MBHS prior to this year; therefore, this will be her second year at the high school as a faculty member. Veronica is also an Assistant Cross Country and Track coach and is going into her second school year at MBHS as an assistant coach.
Veronica is thrilled to be the English & History 10 Collaborative Special Education teacher. When she is not teaching and/or coaching, Veronica enjoys running with her fiancé, walking, and traveling. She also likes to find new restaurants in the Birmingham area, preferably Mexican!
