Mrs. Rachel Proctor
Mrs. Proctor is thrilled to join the MBJH team as School Counselor for the Class of 2027!
As a National Certified Counselor, Mrs. Proctor is especially passionate about helping students discover their individual and unique plans for success. Having most recently worked as a Career Counselor at the University of Montevallo, she is incredibly excited to share her knowledge and skills with the MBJH community! Prior to her time at Montevallo, Mrs. Proctor worked with K-12 students in Shelby County Schools.
Mrs. Proctor attended the University of North Alabama where she studied Sociology, Psychology, and Family Studies. She continued her education at UNA, and earned her Masters in School Counseling. Mrs. Proctor maintains memberships in many professional organizations, including the National- and State-Level Counseling Associations and School Counseling Associations.
When she is not working, Mrs. Proctor enjoys time at home in Shelby County with her husband, toddler, and pets; she can be found curled up with a book during any amount of free time she can find. Mrs. Proctor is ready and excited to serve the Mountain Brook community as School Counselor for the Class of 2027!
