Ms. Sydney Lyn Howard is so excited to begin her 12th year teaching at Cherokee Bend! She is a graduate of the University of Alabama (Roll Tide) with her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education/ Special Education. She started her teaching career at Oak Mountain Elementary School where she taught 3rd grade for 11 years. She received her Masters degree from UAB and is a National Board Certified teacher. She is passionate about building relationships with her students, going on walks with her dog Bo. Sydney Lyn enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her friends and family. She is very excited to work alongside her students and parents this school year!
