Whitney Babatunde is the Technology Coordinator at Cherokee Bend Elementary.  Whitney taught high school English for the first 7 years of her career. She also served as a varsity cheer coach and drama instructor.  Whitney felt inspired to work with adult learners so she returned to school for a second Masters in Adult Education and an Ed.S in Teacher Leader. She began her new path at Vestavia Hills Schools working as an Instructional Technology Specialist. There she serviced all elementary schools. Whitney then became the tech coordinator at Cherokee Bend Elementary June 2020. She enjoys servicing her school and working with teachers on integrating technology in the classroom to make learning more engaging and authentic.
