Mrs. Betsy Bell
Mrs. Betsy Bell is a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Bell has had the opportunity to teach across many grade levels during her career as well as specializing in the area of administration, curriculum and instruction and reading. Mrs. Bell received her Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas, San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Bell utilized her secondary degree and served as a reading specialist/coach in Texas and Cherokee Bend. Respectively, Mrs. Bell attended Samford University and received her Administrative Certification, thus becoming the Assistant Principal at Cherokee Bend Elementary School in 2004, and in 2007, became the Principal. Mrs. Bell is a member of several professional organizations including The Council for Leaders of Alabama Schools, Key Leader Network of Alabama, and Delta Kappa Gamma Society. Mrs. Bell is passionate about student and teacher learning and is always striving for excellence in all areas school improvement.
