4th Annual Student Showcase coming April 22nd, 5:00-7:00 pm
We are pleased to tell you about our upcoming 4th Annual Mountain Brook Schools Student Showcase, coming April 22nd, 5:00-7:00 pm between City Hall and Emmet O'Neal Library in Crestline Village.
We know our greatest resource is our students. They are the most effective communicators of the true story of our school system. We want to give them opportunities to share their learning experiences with the community. With that in mind, last year we held an event in which parents and family members—and anyone else interested--could hear directly from our students about what these young people are learning in their schools. It was a big success and we so appreciated having so many come out for a great evening last spring.
On April 22nd, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, we will again have approximately 50+ booths in which our students, kindergarten through 12th, will talk to visitors about specific things they are learning in their schools. We hold this special celebration around City Hall in Crestline Village. Some streets in the immediate area, such as Oak Street, will be closed especially for the Student Showcase.
We want to invite all of you to please come and celebrate this event. We have asked the local restaurants and merchants to stay open during the event, so you can not only participate in the event by interacting with students, but also enjoy the spring evening, and perhaps with your families, enjoy dinner and shopping in Crestline Village.
