Community Partner Information

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we’ve created these info graphics so you can learn more about a few of our school partners. Here’s a little more detail about ALL IN Mountain Brook, the Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation and the PTO.
We hope this helps and that you will support those who support our school community!
ALL IN Mountain Brook
ALL IN Mountain Brook, a 501(c)(3) established in 2014, is a partnership among Mountain Brook families, schools, government, businesses, and worship communities. The mission of ALL IN is to educate the community about the challenges facing our youth today with a goal of providing families factual information they may use to be safe, healthy, and happy. Focusing on personal safety, mental health, and overall wellness, ALL IN delivers content to help our community learn, grow, and prosper. In recent years, ALL IN has developed two initiatives: MB Plugged IN which promotes healthy technology use; and Silver Spartans which offers education and support to help adults stay independent, connected and resourceful.
Contributions to ALL IN directly support in-person and digital programming, scholarships, student support, and more. Visit their website.
Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation
Established in 1992 by community leaders, the Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation, a 501(c)(3) supports Mountain Brook Schools by providing additional funding to the district through an annual grant. Over the past 30 years, the Foundation has contributed more than $11 million to our schools to help foster a top-notch education for Mountain Brook students.
Tax-deductible contributions to the Foundation are invested in an endowment, and the annual grant (based on a spending calculation to protect the corpus) funds educational resources such as math and reading coaches for each elementary school, Phonics First training for teachers, enhanced sound systems with safety features, innovative tools like Prisms VR software and much more. Families are invited to support the Foundation through its annual Give180 campaign. Visit their website.
PTO
Each school in the Mountain Brook school system has its own PTO, which is a 501(c)3. These groups work with the schools to raise funds for school needs, provide enrichment events for students, and support the education of children by fostering relationships among the school, parents, and teachers.
PTO funds are tied directly to each local school and funds raised are spent within the academic year. PTO funding has recently provided resources like new playgrounds, refurbishing areas within the school building, special events for school stakeholders and more! Visit their website.
“We are so thankful for all of our supporting organizations and hope you see how special our school community is. We hope this clarifies both what and how our partnering organizations make a difference for our school, students and faculty. Your support towards any of these organizations is meaningful and promotes our purpose of providing an effective, challenging and engaging education for each one of our students. Thank you for your consideration!” -Dicky Barlow, Superintendent, Mountain Brook Schools
