MBHS Math Team Shines

Nine students from the MBHS math team participated in the Vestavia Hills High School tournament on Saturday, December 6th. Approximately 1100 students from schools across multiple southeastern states competed at various levels.
Our MBHS Algebra 2 team achieved a 3rd place finish overall (out of 12 teams), while the Comprehensive team secured 4th place overall (out of 13 teams). In individual performances, Reese Horner earned 4th place (out of 69 students) in Algebra 2, with Will Hardee and Charles Lichty placing 6th and 8th, respectively (out of 66 students).
The Algebra 2 team consisted of Lou Gidiere (20th place), Zayna Glover (34th place), Reese Horner (4th place), Millie McCullough (25th place), and Davis Perry (31st place).
The Comprehensive team included Will Hardee (6th place), Charles Lichty (8th place), Jack Pierce (17th place), and Frances Townsend (31st place).
