Girls Track Wins 6A State Championship

Monday, May 4, 2026 – The Mountain Brook boys and girls track teams competed last week in Gulf Shores in the AHSAA state championships. The girls won the 6A state championship totaling 72.5 points as a team thanks to numerous top performances! This marks the 15th outdoor track state championship in program history for the girls. This school year, MBHS girls cross country, indoor and outdoor track all won the 6A state title!
The boys finished fourth as a team and also featured multiple student athletes with top-10 finishes in their specific event.
